      Pros

      You learn a TON about the industry and about the company's processes. As a result, there are lots of opportunity to grow in the company from this position. The pay is really great and the cost of living in Ft Smith is on the cheaper side. You get to work with really hard working, intelligent, and caring people who enjoy what they do and are always available to answer questions.

      Cons

      Fort Smith, Arkansas is somewhat of a smaller ton if you are used to places with a bigger city like Dallas or Houston. But has great outdoor activities

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
