      Pros

      Only worked a few weeks but so far it's great. This is my second job and I already have a 3rd family, very accepting. Everyone is willing to answer questions or lend a hand. At my other job I am a member of management and take my fair share of customer/ employee complaints, so my perspective is that this job is so much less stressful and enjoyable. Especially for the wage.

      Cons

      Communication between management could be better (and I don't mean using Nextels). The Union aspect adds more complexity than I thought it would, but I am still learning the ropes. Production expectancy does seem pretty low.

      Pros

      Low stress environment. No cost Healthcare benefits. An amazing Defined Benifit Pension. Terrific Company to work for.

      Cons

      Working on a cold dock in the Winter with do doors. Some workers that don’t appreciate the benifits of working under a Teamster contract.

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
