      Pros

      Some terminals (Jacksonville) are amazing. Great environment and supportive team. If you go through the management training program you’ll be treated like gold and they’ll send you to HQ often to meet with the higher ups. Very cool trips.

      Cons

      Other terminals (most of them) are pretty toxic and don’t care if you get burnt out. I’m a hard worker but there’s this terrible theme of “if you don’t want to live at the workplace then you’re just lazy.” Left because I didn’t want to be miserable anymore and it’s not like anyone truly cared anyway!!

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
