Pros

Pay is decent. That about it.

Cons

You are exposed to the elements amd have to deal with double sstandards. You are expected to just submit to what full timers AND supervisor tell you with out question. The people are rude and don't make you feel like a part of the team but rather like a servant.

Pros

Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

Cons

Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
