      Pros

      Benefits, job security, growth opportunities.

      Cons

      They do everything they can to try and fire you up. If you drink the Kool-Aid it’s a great place to work. However, the hours are exhausting and it’s a lot of hard work. Managing a union is not something to take lightly. I am a very hard worker and always strive to be the best, but this job became soul sucking very quickly. If you value your free time to work here

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
