      Pros

      Very well run company, upper mgmt is very smart, and is one union company that has lasted the test of time because of superior mgmt. Never have to worry about this company being bought out from under its loyal employees, like the folks at Conway have recently had to endure.

      Cons

      If your looking to sell the fastest transit times and coverage this is not the place. Good consistent average service, and if you want the speed you have to pay for it.

      Pros

      Low stress environment. No cost Healthcare benefits. An amazing Defined Benifit Pension. Terrific Company to work for.

      Cons

      Working on a cold dock in the Winter with do doors. Some workers that don’t appreciate the benifits of working under a Teamster contract.

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
