Pros
I have had a few different managers throughout the years, and most have been extremely helpful, trustworthy, and fair. I feel that I have been rewarded for my hard work through advancement in the company, and I always feel optimistic about the goals I set for myself because I know that my manager values my contributions and is there to help me grow and succeed. Work/Home balance is great. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. I work remotely (from home) and visit client offices a few days out of the week. I will work longer hours if it is a busy time of year, but I never feel pressure from management to do so. What ABI specializes in (record retrieval) is not in the least bit thrilling, but the people I work with and the travelling make it a lot of fun. There are always going to be upset clients or annoying coworkers anywhere you go, but these days I feel like it is few and far between. I have worked in many different departments throughout my years with ABI, and there have definitely been some bad eggs, but I just try to remain positive about these kinds of things and remind myself that I have no idea about other peoples' struggles. ABI did recently go through a growth spurt and a change in CEO's, and it has been a bumpy ride for the past year or so, but I really think that the new CEO is doing her best to make improvements based on all of the feedback she has been receiving. Overall, I think ABI has been a great employer!
Cons
I had the ABI medical benefits up until the past year when it was changed and became so expensive. I dropped my medical benefits and just use my spouse's insurance. Communication throughout management/departments could be better. Sometimes I find out weeks later about a procedure change or change in staff.
