Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that our compensation and benefits package meet your expectations. We believe in paying competitive wages and providing flexible benefit options that meet people where they are. However, we are not perfect, and the rest of your comments reflect that it has been a challenging year for ABX as we build. Not even two years old, we launched during the pandemic and during a challenging environment in which it has been difficult to attract top talent, secure raw materials, and grow our business. This past year, ABX launched a new ERP system, put in a new leadership team, and enhanced its compensation, benefits, and employee experience (including an enhanced communication platform launching later this year). We are now attracting top talent, securing key raw materials, and winning new business. We are continuously working hard to improve and appreciate your comments to help us realize that while we are making great strides, we can do better, and we will! We’d love an opportunity to learn more about your experience and any concerns you may have. If you’d like to share additional feedback or details, feel free to reach out to us at people@abxpackaging.com or give us a call at 980-443-1100. And remember, at ABX the future is flexible!

Pros

O.K. to start a career in manufacturing/warehouse environment. Will pay competively or better to start. Some good people to work with.

Cons

Management, starting at the corporate level. I worked in this plant for many years, under different ownership groups. ABX is the worst of the lot, ask anyone in the building of twenty-plus years of experience, the few that are left. This was once a business that people worked at for over forty years, where people made lifelong friendships, a family, sadly no longer. The expertise among the staff and especially the supervisors and management is nowhere what it was when I started there, and has not been replaced, especially in the management level. This business produces printed flexible packaging film, yet, the corporation continues to bring in manufacturing managers with little or no experience in the printing industry. A warning- there are cameras throughout the plant-this management group starting at the corporate level encourages them to be used as a tool to observe employees. Good parents would not raise their children the way the cameras are used. Another warning- if you cannot for some reason may or might have issues with attendance, being on time, for whatever reason (illness, children, etc.) they are very strict on attendance and prepare to document your absences. Also, do not fail to call in if you are going to be late, or miss a shift. Bonuses. In this plant, you can go months or more without actually seeing one. After I was given notice I was being let go, another employee told me management told him that they were getting bonuses that quarter. Management does play favorites. Especially if you are willing to bend over backwards to please them. There is more I could say, but I won't. Don't plan on a long career here.
