Pros

decent work culture and open door policy from managers. consistent paychecks and sometimes there is free food. not too much people looking over your shoulder as long as you do your work. If you perform well and put in the work you will get raises every year. There is some room for advancement and training but not as frequently as I would like. Company is growing though and has lots of potential. Management tends to listen for the most part and tries to help if you come at them the right way. 401(K) plan with matching, dental insurance, and PTO, which honestly are bare minimums these days for any company to keep employees. PTO does keep adding up even if you use it up though, and it rolls over annually, so if you like to work all year and never get sick it will add up. Management is flexible with emergencies and family needs within reason. Coworkers are helpful and friendly. Paid holidays. BICSI training and certification for top performers is a plus for a career in this industry.

Cons

Small company has small company issues. Pay is low compared to trends and management will gas light you if you try to negotiate. They treat sales department like trash. No bonuses for anyone, they say they do it but will find way to get out of paying it, and if they do its very little. Annual reviews are not consistent and usually late just like raises, with raises not being a large amount. they low ball offer letters and have a nasty non-compete clause in the contract. The owner likes to take people to court for it a lot and is spiteful. Owner also loves to talk about himself a lot and how many toys he has, even in front of clients, not a great look. Health Insurance plan sucks and has a high deductible, no vision insurance. Sick days and vacation all come out of your PTO. If you have 2 weeks of PTO a year, don't get sick if you want a decent vacation. There is also been a pretty high turn over rate and the people that have stayed are burnt to a crisp from being taken advantage of to increase profits, especially sales and operations. If you come here thinking you are going to make yourself big and make big changes in the company then don't bother working here, the owner is stuck in the 90's with the way he operates things and treats employees. When you work here, you are the help. They also don't allow work from home or hybrid.

Pros

Not much at all but a weekly paycheck.

Cons

They tell what you want to hear to get in and nothing they offer pans out! No loyalty or appreciation for going the extra mile. Once the owner left, upper management needs more training on people skills and not being power hungry.
