Since 2005, when Phil Heasley became CEO, this company has been going downhill. Instead of encouraging innovation, he has gone on a huge spending spree, acquiring competitors, then sunsetting their (often excellent) products. It's often said by senior management that ACI will become a billion dollar company - if you take the accretive value of all the companies that have been acquired since 2005, they should already be there. But for some reason, they are still well short of that goal - what gives, Phil?
