Pros
If you want a career in banking and want to learn about payment systems, the underpinnings of the transaction processing business or online banking, this is a good place to start. If you want to eventually work for a traditional large software company like Oracle or IBM, this is a good place to start at. Great marketing team.
Cons
The culture is toxic, and it starts at the top. Work life balance is non existent. There are a large number of managers to manage a few developers and testers. Processes are draconian and people put in 60 plus hours of busy work while customers hang on waiting for other alternatives to emerge in the market. Most of the senior leadership lacks integrity and is driven by greed. Politics is dog eat dog. Employee engagement survey scores have been dropping for the past few years. Integration of acquisitions has been poor and acquired employees are alienated and the quickly leave. At least the good engineers do. The company is incapable of creating a new product from scratch, it has turned into a trading house.
