Pros
The pay is good. The time-off plan is good maybe better than most with up to 5 weeks PTO plus 8 holidays. Mid and lower level employees are bright and work hard.
Cons
Management has created a culture that is destroying the company. They set expectations without having any understanding of the nuts and bolts business. This is mostly due to reorganizations and hiring outsiders who very little about the business. Sometimes the lack of basic knowledge is startling. They expect employees to work weekends, which is only needed because the projects are so poorly planned and chronically understaffed. The result is a constant exodus of experienced employees. Those left have hidden behind the process to declare, “Sorry, I can’t help. It is not part of my job description.” I do not have high hopes for the company’s future unless they start letting employees be creative again.
