Pros

Founders, CEO are great. Seems like they really care about their employees. Casual dress code. Good benefits. The technology behind ACV is very unique and it's been very successful.

Cons

Questionable ethics for a company that boasts "transparency." Sloppy, embarrassing drinking events; employees having toxic relationships for everybody to witness. Managers appointed who aren't qualified to manage people, YIKES. The company relies on the Vehicle Condition Inspectors (who are worked to the bone); or else nothing would be produced or accomplished. Sales department is pushed to insanity. Some employees are dangerously protected & pampered, others are treated very poorly. Territory Managers have a decent turnover rate due to the nature of the business; the wholesale auto industry is filled with extremely stubborn people who think they're right about everything. Not much career-growth opportunity; you can jump between departments but most senior roles are determined by inner-ties instead of qualifications.

Pros

A dedicated team in every department every section, every inch of this company. Someone can help you. Management is responsive and engaged. Tech support is out of this world in how much knowledge they have.

Cons

Weather mainly, cant control it.

Pros

Freedom to mostly self-manage, occasionally get to interact with cool people and take pictures of cars for a living. Lots of daily driving also meant nice mileage checks, but heavy wear on my car.

Cons

99.9% of the work is photographing junk heaps that belong in a scrap yard and being encouraged to market them in better condition than they actually are, then the inspector is punished for any post-sale issues. Manager was a control freak while simultaneously being almost entirely absent; I think I saw them in-person twice in the almost 2 years I worked there. Working in direct sunlight in extreme temperatures on blacktop with a phone that constantly overheats and most cars dont have working A/C on top of smelling like pure garbage.
