Everything else. Literally. If you're a VCI you're the bottom of the barrel, they start you out at $18.50 + commission ($10 per car sold, lose that $10 if you get arbed), cap out at $21.50 + commission. This company likes to pride themselves on "team", "growth", "communication". This company is atrocious at every one of them. They love to tell you that you can grow within the company, when you can't. I've been trying to apply to new positions for quite some time and they don't get back to you. You'll get a screen call from the recruiter and then after that they forget about you, and if you are lucky enough to get the interview, they always hire something "with more experience" even after them telling you that position is usually where VCI's go to. If you're a VCI, there is no team. The only team is your direct co-workers, and that's even iffy. You have a manager (TM/Territory Manager) who gives you your schedule every day, however, they only look out for themselves. We (VCIs) get our big money from selling cars that we write, not just inspecting. The TMs get paid on both and get bonuses on both, so the more terrible dealers they send you to with a 50% or under sell through percentage is a waste a time for us VCIs, whereas they don't care because they need a quota to hit to get their bonus. You could write cars all month long at terrible spots and sell 70 cars, yet they get slapped with a big bonus and won't care about your bonus.
