Pros

There really aren't very many anymore.

Cons

Removing commission and replacing with hourly, removing weekly pay and replacing with bi-weekly (to accommodate Protection 1's pay schedule), losing management and refusing to replace, removing overtime regardless of customer demand, then making it mandatory at later dates, unsafe vehicles that cause medical issues, unwilling to compensate employees during slow months regardless of performance during busy months, no incentives for extra effort, complete disconnect between field operations and upper management, "if you don't like it there's the door" mentality literally stated to employees. This company treats everyone not in upper management as a number, a tool that can be tossed out.

Pros

shift differentials, the ability to trade shifts or flex, paid training, premium holiday pay, plenty of overtime hours, and good for employees looking to build their resume.

Cons

you might have to work mandatory overtime during hurricane season, large volume of calls, very fast paced, and you may deal with hostile or panicked callers.
