Pros

Great starting pay and benefits

Cons

Is more concerned with your stats. Calls were back to back and you were not expected to go over any time in ACW to put notes in because calls were so backed up. Doesn’t care about work life balance and they think throwing extra money for extra hours in your face is them caring about you. I had a mental health emergency and literally all they thought about was when I was coming back. Never made sure I was ok, never showed any empathy just wanted to know how long my stay was going to be so I can get back to work because “I contributed a lot to the team”. I would get yelled at for 8 whole hours by customers and talked down to by people in management because “this is something you should have learned in training” when training never covered it. They expect you to be available to them 24/7 and there were half of the time no managers to help. You have to push virtual service appointments no matter the customers age or physical ability. They say they care about the customers age and physical ability but when you mention that you get a dry “oh, well ask them how they change their light bulb” or “ask them to get help from a neighbor” you get criticized if customers don’t send in surveys like you can force them to do them and even if they say you were amazing but the hate the company, it was your fault they said that and you should have done something to change their minds.

Pros

I've worked for the company for 40+ years, I'm treated with respect and my efforts are recognized by my Director and other ADT leaders. They give me the autonomy to manage my department and value my experience and insight. They offer a solid benefits package. ADT leads by example with their cultural markers and ensures that rules and laws are followed. I love the collaboration I have with our other departments.

Cons

Obviously, we all want more money, especially given the prices of everything, it's always nice to make more money, but I've checked the compensation and benefits in similar positions outside of ADT and I feel ADT is paying a fair wage and when I factor in the benefits package, they are above average in overall compensation.
