Pros

It's a great place to pick up new skills and further your learning from university because they support training. You do have to fight a little for the actual training courses and time but it's the on-the-job learning that helps the most, in my opinion. It's also full of young people so you're never short of a peer group. Time off depends on your manager - some can allow time off at the last minute depending on workload and

Cons

It can get very boring and repetitive if you're in the wrong team and the upward mobility can be very slow. To be very honest the salaries aren't great compared with other industries. Compared to their competitors they would be paying you much less because of their competitive business model. There are no benefits to speak of unless you're willing to sacrifice part of your salary but even then it's nothing to write home about. In my experience you don't get sent anywhere interesting and you don't really get the opportunity to work abroad unless you're very lucky or very very senior in the company. Most of the time you'll be at your desk. The hours are quite long too - 40 hours.
