Pros
Mostly stable, fairly relaxed. overall a good place to work with decent (though ever shrinking) benefits.
Cons
Job progression moves glacially slowly. There's a lack of communication here. Whether it's between the various departments, or between management and everyone else, you can never quite be sure what's going on and that causes endless problems. Also HR. Now that Linda is gone (no one, and I mean NO ONE is sorry to have her gone) things are better, but there's still an "us vs them" feel to things. I've never before worked at a company where HR so clearly viewed their job as policing and ultimately punishing employees for perceived transgressions (or in Linda's case, because she didn't like you). No one goes to HR for help with anything, because it's even odds whether you'll be mocked, barely tolerated, or actually helped. Many of us have received sarcastic answers to honest questions, and many have actually been threatened outright with our jobs. We'll see how things go now that HR's leadership has changed, I'm hopeful that's all in the past.
