Pros
Overall, the management organization values opinions, input and new ways to solve problems. Leadership is very accessible and the company culture feels like a start-up (mostly casual dress, open office environment, flex PTO, etc). Most employees are encouraged to take on projects outside of their discipline and interact with other business units. They are trusted to excel outside their comfort zone if so desired. Benefits are terrific (especially if you're single/no dependents). Big company wins are all celebrated and key contributors (across departments) are recognized.
Cons
As a younger company, communication and process aren't as strong as in more established organizations. This can lead to information being difficult to find or efforts being repeated; a so-called "re-invention" of the wheel. "Hand-holding" doesn't exist in this organization, so if extensive training, process and a checklist of to-do's are important to you, AHEAD may not be the best fit.
