Pros
The field account teams work hard to do a great job and add value to their clients. Among the non-management staff, these are some of the smartest, hardest working, best people you will ever meet.
Cons
SO much of the upper management does not seem to know what they are doing. The incompetence limits the company growth and costs the company great people. Inexperienced management fly by the seat of their pants without the awareness of their incompetence. While these people may have been good as individual contributors, they don't know what they don't know about managing others, resulting in people being let go with no explanation why. While there's this great messaging about how accepting the company is, once someone in management doesn't care for you, your time is limited. I'm aware of 4 high-level field resources, who account teams truly enjoyed working and found value working with, let go with no explanation. Despite the popularity of advanced analytics/AI providing true game-changing insights and benefits to organizations of all types, the CEO doesn't understand AI nor has any plans in the near future to lead with any AI solutions, even mocking it while saying he doesn't get it.
