Pros

I’ve worked with several furniture repair firms over the years. Some treated me fine and others were very intrusive going so far as to violate contractor labor laws. This is the first place that I have felt part of a team. My opinion is heard and I’m encouraged to balance my work with my life.

Cons

Working face to face with the public is hard. Work can be cyclical and some of the companies we work with are not always the best at sharing the details.

Pros

Base level employees are generally nice and easy to work with. I have no complaints for them. Work is not difficult, though can be overwhelming

Cons

While I take no issues with this company being built on the owner's faith, this company being a "Christian" company is not stated until you are hired. Each monday there is a motivational meeting that starts off as a prayer meeting. While you are told you may skip this prayer section of the meeting, the "motivational" speech often ties back to Christian beliefs and stories. No sir, I am at my place of business, not Sunday school. I do not wish to hear about your theories of why Adam was placed on this earth. The owners also, based on past social media history, have no problem posting statements that are demeaning if not flat-out racist. Worst of all, lower management knows of this and does their best to assure you that "you will not interact much with the owners". The same owners you will see and hear from at least every Monday. On a more serious note, I understand this is a private company. However, they do not suitably protect customer information. While you do need a log in to sign into the programs to access customer addresses, there is nothing stopping you from copying and pasting addresses, phone numbers, and any other information onto your computer. There is nothing is stopping you from saving pictures taken in a customer's personal home on your computer. This company is extremely lucky that no one they have hired has gone after their customers in order to steal identities. But if they do not improve their security measures, I fear it will happen very, very soon.
