Pros

If you are ambitious you can grow your career quickly. They need people desperately since they are growing faster than they can handle. You can take on additional work that you think is interesting. if you offer what they need it will usually be recognized and you can move up or create your own position. A "pro" of the small company mentality is that they are flexible in some ways. The people are great and management is passionate about the work they do. Work from home and flexible hours are one of the best perks. Benefits and pay are good and lots of extras are available through the parent company.

Cons

Really disorganized. They never lost the small company mentality after they were acquired and there are serious growing pains now. The experience is really different in different departments. Some are horrible and some are great. Unless you know what you are getting into it can be a surprise. You kind of have to be your own manager because people are too busy to check in or tell you how to do things so you have to teach yourself. If you can't speak up and can't develop yourself you will get lost in the shuffle.

Pros

I started work at 9:30am so I was able to at least sleep in and eat breakfast without running out the door. Close to home, my drive time was only 20min max

Cons

You are taking a massive amount of phone calls a day. The phones are constantly ringing and you can only take assigned bathroom breaks and lunches. If you take too many breaks or are away from the phones too long you will get in trouble.
