Pros

AIM is a subsidiary of Wellpoint, so the benefits are excellent. You can learn a lot about human anatomy, which is great.

Cons

You never know when your number will be up at AIM. It's always good to save a paycheck. The company doesn't care about their employees and do "tap on the shoulder" promotions and "tap on the shoulder" firings. You have to always be on your guard. and never let them think that you disagree with anything they've said, because if management doesn't like you, they will create a way to fire you. So when you're in meeting with them, don't speak, just smile every now and then.Keep your opinions to yourself! True story -One RS was seeking employment for her son and even though he passed the written test, was not hired. The RS went to one of the manager to question if her son could be reconsidered since AIM was still hiring, that manager asked her if her son hung out on the street corners, or in any gang activity. To keep her job and get another interview for her son, she had to hold her tongue. This is AIM, work at your own risk. Just keep your head down, and your mouth closed.Don't have any opinions and if you do, don't share them. Wellpoint will send out those surveys to rate the company and rate the management, but you better know that AIM is reading what you're writing. So follow the steps that I've given on how to stay an employee at AIM and you might be okay.

Pros

I started work at 9:30am so I was able to at least sleep in and eat breakfast without running out the door. Close to home, my drive time was only 20min max

Cons

You are taking a massive amount of phone calls a day. The phones are constantly ringing and you can only take assigned bathroom breaks and lunches. If you take too many breaks or are away from the phones too long you will get in trouble.
