Pros
Opportunities for growth and development in customer service, account management and IT. Also allows growth into parent company Anthem. New competition forcing company to improve employee satisfaction and pay. Opportunities to work from home and flexible schedules becoming available. Benefits are excellent.
Cons
Hiring is focusing more on customer service than healthcare background. While this is normally good, specialty programs can require more in-depth knowledge. Causes abrasion with some doctors offices.
