fun job, tutoring high school students is rewarding and a fun chance for you to offer not only academic support but also life guidance and direction (all of my students were high school seniors). great way for me to stay fresh on my calc and stats
Cons
many of my coworkers were not serious about career development and were just kind of cruising, not really with a clear direction in mind. it would've been nice to be around more people trying to be professionals and learn and grow every single day.
