Pros

Aldi is very flexible with scheduling, and good with accommodations when scheduling days off.

Cons

From my experience, Aldi has bad management. They don’t care about their workers, and value customers over their workers. They let customers berate you, and don’t stand up for you. They make full time employees work horrible hours, sometimes 8-9 days in a row with 9-10 hour shifts with no days off. The part time employees are treated bad as well, the sometimes will get no hours. Aldi also doesn’t treat their workers with respect, and don’t value seniority.

Pros

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
