Pros

A great place to learn a little bit of everything to better your knowledge in the healthcare industry. Although your title might be one thing, you can ask to help out and gain knowledge on other jobs within the company. I have learned so much within this company and can certainly learn more. Everyone is warm and welcoming. There is always room for improvement and we all learn from our mistakes so we do not repeat them. We work through team of teams which is amazing. We also have the Affunity Crew which is changing the culture at home office.

Cons

There is little reinforcement with the systems to reprimand communities for not doing what is expected. Hopefully, that will change over time.

Failure to pay bills timely, change policies and procedures to benefit home office, undervalue all staff, limit resources to provide adequate care, lack of mentorship, cuts corners to benefit owners, lack of support, employees are only a person, poor management structure including eliminating critical employees, staffing ratio is the bare minimum of state regulations no more, horrible benefits including unaffordable health insurance, no 401k or retirement, pto plan is not competitive
