I know everyday that what I do makes a difference or supports our community staff in making a difference in an elderly persons life. We care for so many fine people.

Cons

With communities and services that are 24/7 there can be some long days and weekend work. However, it is always rewarding.

Failure to pay bills timely, change policies and procedures to benefit home office, undervalue all staff, limit resources to provide adequate care, lack of mentorship, cuts corners to benefit owners, lack of support, employees are only a person, poor management structure including eliminating critical employees, staffing ratio is the bare minimum of state regulations no more, horrible benefits including unaffordable health insurance, no 401k or retirement, pto plan is not competitive
