Pros
*This has been the first experience in my life where I can say I enjoy the company itself, the job I have, and who I work with. Usually at every job there is usually one or all of those things that are sour. *Allo welcomes growth. When I first started working here, I was out in the field as a drop tech, essentially digging. I was vocal about my desire to work in I.T. Leadership heard me and they supported that drive. I moved from the field to my first ever office position. I continued to vocalize my desire to work in I.T. Finally in Feb of '22, I was able to achieve that goal and work in I.T Now my eyes are set on cybersecurity, and leadership is still being supportive! They've even began giving me some security projects. *The health benefits are insane. This company is insanely supportive of good health. From the Health Savings account to the yearly allowance we have for exercising. *Leadership understands that we are human. If we need to leave early to go run an errand, or address something outside of work, they understand that. As long as we communicate and have the ETO (Which Allo is very generous about), we're ok to take care of those things.
Cons
I can't think of any real complaints. Maybe more towards the facility side of things. To start thinking about building on-site gyms for the offices. Even if it's just a room full of treadmills and dumbbells. I think it'd be interesting to have full gyms onsite at the offices, and it could create more job opportunities to have it staffed to some degree.
