Pros
Free movies with only being able to get the tickets at least two hours before it starts, to see a show at 1pm you have to wait until 11am Minimum pay -possible yearly merit- Break time with general manager Temporary merit increase 50% off concessions A team that treats everyone how they want to be treated (except for myself) AMC slogan, we make movies better (don’t see this happening for employees) You also get to experience having to wait a thousand years for management to come and assist a guest with refunds or concerns Getting one day a week with only five hours (so much for a part time job)
Cons
Extremely limited amount of growth Starts with multiple shifts then you stick to just one Management constantly on me for any reason Some crew members don’t like you (To the point that they can’t seem to get along) I was honored and thrilled to get an award for 1 out of the 60 participants to win Q3 peoples choice award. Nobody cared but I still did what I needed to do. The employees here treat you horrible, it’s like they are watching you closely so they can find some little thing to write you up for. I’ve applied twice to crew lead and supervisor, they turned me down. It’s hard to get an opportunity to grow or lead a team. Which was one of my goals now ruined because of management. For every discipline warning, your crew leaders and everyone gets to see and they get to talk about you to others.
