Pros
The job is easy and laid-back. Depending on the group you work with, it could be tons of fun. There's not much to do until it's packed, but you meet plenty of interesting people.
Cons
When I first worked there was absolutely no training and they threw me on the register during a crazy packed opening movie weekend. I survived, but the first couple of days I did all the math in my head until I was taught how to actually use the register. But they spent a good 3 days teaching us how to sweep floors. The scheduling was terrible, never seeming coming out on time and most times completely disregarding your availability. Sometimes you were scheduled to work the closing shift and then the morning shift the next day.
