Contractor Sweat Shop - Anonymous employee AMC Entertainment Employee Review

There is a huge population of contractors working here so the company doesn't have to pay benefits. I witnessed a manager fire 1 associate after he was taken to the hospital, and another after taking a week of vacation just because! Very odd atmosphere and no one speaks to each other. The managers that work in corporate were the same teenagers that started working in the movie theater 30 years ago and never left, so there are some odd ducks. Other reviews are also correct in that the focus is now on being the biggest and selling stub club memberships. No longer the great AMC we once knew.
