Relationships between coworkers often led to drama Relationships between SUPERVISORS and their subordinates made for an awkward work environment No discounted food items when not working Managers often practiced favoritism Biannual "safety" meetings often not very informative and failed to address any concerns employees had Constant fear of losing your job due to lack of stubs sales exacerbates an already stressed situation Breaks are often postponed until very late Also, the theater I work at is hilariously outdated. The General Manager takes pride on the fact that our location is the one of the last movie theaters in California to still use 35 mm film projection but I get at least a couple complaints a day by customers regarding picture quality and scratches on the film. Our theater is unique in that one side is an old, outdated building; more a remnant to the bygone era of theaters than a functioning theater; and the other side is more modern in that it actually has regular seating and large screens and surround sound. Customers often request movies on the modern side.
