Pros
Some of the best reasons for working at AMC is the atmosphere. Movie theaters by nature are fun to work at and the management staff were not laid back but flexible and understanding. The fast pace of the weekend night crowd is balanced with the incredibly slow week day pace. If one likes movies, seeing them for free is a great perk.
Cons
AMC Entertainment does adjust its prices without warning so discussion with guests on when what cost what can be annoying. Because of the number of people in any one theater, guest complaints tend to come in droves if there is a problem with a movie. Also because it is a guest service industry, management may not back policy you have to enforce in order to please guests.
