Don't expect to get promoted (unless you are a really good at puckering up). Even if you have an idea that could potentially save the company thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of dollars a year...no one cares. No one listens. Even if you're in management...no one cares. Only GMs have power. There are no checks and balances. Their word is law and no one ever questions them as long as the financial numbers are positive.
