Pros
I loved everything about my job at AMC - I am a big people person and got to interact with people purely out to do something for entertainment all the time. I found it fast-moving, crew was always friendly, management really cared that we were having a good time and went out of their way to encourage diversity. It was an amazing team for someone who loves movies and people.
Cons
Because of the nature of the work, you have to be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. There also is no guaranteed weekly hours. If no good movies are out you might not have any. If lots are, you may have no ability to request off.
