      Pros

      AMD creates state-of-the-art microprocessor chips. It is a good environment to gain experience, particularly for design and test.

      Cons

      AMD's has not been financially stable for several years and has been fighting a losing battle between Intel and NVidia.

      Pros

      The pay is really nice. 3/4 managers I've had actually seem to care! Nice location for most folks.

      Cons

      They will keep you on contract until they literally cannot anymore. Getting hired on full-time is like pulling teeth.
