      Pros

      I joined the company a year ago and I'm very happy with my decision. AMETEK is a great corporation with tons of resources and opportunities for growth. They have a decentralized business structure which is the best of both worlds. Each business division is run according to industry and onsite leadership, with guidance and support for the Corporate Office in PA. We have great benefits and fair market compensation. I would highly recommend this company!

      Honestly, I really enjoy working here and I don't have any "cons" based on my personal experience.

      Flexible start time (6–8 AM) and ability to make up missed time. Supportive direct management and good work-life balance. Opportunity to learn a variety of manufacturing skills.

      Cons

      Compensation is not competitive with the current manufacturing market. Limited career growth and advancement opportunities for technicians. Skilled employees often need outside offers to receive meaningful pay adjustments. Random drug testing policy may be a drawback for some candidates.
