Ametek is an acquisitions company; they buy old companies and destroy them. Used to have holiday parties, company picnics; not any more since Ametek took over the company. Health care changed, costs keep going up. PTO reduced. Staffing levels are a fragment of what they used to be yet, the workload has doubled; Management is new and history is not shared so we are made out to look like we are lazy and not trying when reality is there is not enough people remaining to do the original work and now there is more since Ametek closed the other business units.
