Pros

The employees at the bottom level are fantastic to work with

Cons

Ametek suffers from many systemic issues. - Short staffing - Forced PTO - Bad ethics, and no integrity of upper management - Lack of action taken against managers who harass their employees and abuse companies resources. - Stability issues, lay offs of key personnel during hard times induce more stress. (Short sighted gains) - No clarity/training for promotions. Promotions seem to be given based on how close you are to upper management. - Low moral due to insufficient appreciation of loyalty. - Low compensation for loyal team members - Lack of sufficient investment in infrastructure makes work challenging
