Good Benefits/401K but Atmosphere is NOT GOOD - Information Technology Specialist AMETEK Employee Review

Depressing environment. They have changed our VPN three times in less than a year. They took all our rights away in Active Directory while putting in a ticketing system to take its place where SLA’s are not met. They want to move from Windows Active Directory to Azure but the process is a mess and Azure AD does not work as well. The computer screens get logged out every 5 minutes and trying to get that extended is a nightmare. They buy companies and promise not to change things but all they do is change EVERYTHING. They lay off half the employees and then the employees that are left are doing the jobs of 3 employees while making a terrible salary. Everyone you talk to is upset about all the change and they talk about how corporate pushes deadlines but they can’t be met because of other roadblocks that corporate put in place. People in higher positions (HR) think that they can get away with anything while nobody regulates what they do. Just stay away from working for AMETEK.
