AMITA is entrenched in the Ascension way! Which means heavy bureaucracy and long delays when it comes to getting things done! People are not sure who is responsible for some functions, so you waste time trying to track some one to assist you with an issue. High Turn over in nursing at most hospitals, first year grads are looking for the door as soon as they see what is going on. Hospital(s) C-Suite has been decimated and those executives that are left are very disillusioned. IT support used to be great, now it sucks to the level no one even bothers calling for support. Department leads wont tell the truth about that other wise they feel they are being perceived as not being team players. Leadership is trying to become profitable by cutting staff, which puts patients at risk.
