Pros
This company has been fantastic so far. I truly feel that my work is valued and I am optimistic about my career growth here. I have a lot of independence, but know that my manager is available whenever I do need help. It is definitely a fast-paced environment, so if you're not comfortable having to drop your current assignment to work on a spur of the moment project, it may be stressful. You really need to be on the ball to succeed (at least in my current department.) I thrive in situations like that, so I've been loving it. In addition, this company does not make me feel bad for having a family and understands that they are a priority. I am thankful every day that my manager is so flexible when life happens and I need to adjust my work hours, etc. Interactions with the CEO have always been positive and I feel that she not only talks the talk, but walks the walk when it comes to our core values. Onsite cafe and Starbucks are fantastic, too. There's also a gym that I haven't used (but I really should).
Cons
Unfortunately, the health insurance coverage isn't great. I am paying more out of each check than my previous job and the coverage pales in comparison—and it takes quite a while to kick in once you start, which I feel is a bit odd for a company with healthcare in their name. I am really hoping it will improve in the future because I've seen numerous comments about this.
