Pros

Honestly, I can't really think of one... Hhmm... Employees that aren't afraid to befriend you are very nice. I'm still friends with a couple people that work there.

Cons

Everything... I'll elaborate a bit more for you - You are just a number to them. You may think they care about your future with the company, but trust me they don't. - One piece of proof of that, people that work there don't want to be friends or friendly with you because they assume you won't last long. AKA extremely high turnover. - Loyalty, hard work and drive means nothing to them. They will stab you in the back in a second. - By the time I left the company I'd been there a few months and there was only ONE person left from my training class. Never seen that before and I've been in sales a long time - They tell you that you will be at a certain income level, but once you get in the door and start working you realize how unrealistic that is. - There are people that have been there for a long time, encouraging... But even they are starting to leave or be pushed out. - Micro managing to an extreme that is just not normal. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Merritt Hawkins. Even if you're desperate for a job or want to work in the healthcare industry, there are way better options out there and plenty of good companies to work with in Atlanta area. Trust me, don't even try with these guys... Waste of time. I've seen the cons for many people at the company and little to no pros.

Pros

At nearly 9 years with AMN, I've had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while helping hospitals and clinics address critical staffing shortages. The healthcare landscape is constantly evolving, and AMN continues to adapt to meet those challenges while keeping patient care at the center of every decision. I've worked alongside talented colleagues, built meaningful relationships with clinicians, and had the chance to make a real impact by connecting healthcare professionals with communities that need them most. The organization offers opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced industry.

Cons

Like any company operating in healthcare staffing, the industry can be unpredictable. Market conditions, reimbursement changes, workforce shortages, and client demands can create periods of uncertainty and require teams to pivot quickly. The pace can be demanding, and success often requires resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace change.
