Simply put, no company has more career opportunity than AMN and Merritt Hawkins. AMN constantly invests in its people with tools that make our job easier, our results more consistent. Our company is the largest healthcare staffing firm in America and quite literally, we recruit everything. If you feel stagnant in your career then just switch to a different company within the AMN team. No longer do you need to look outside of the company. No longer do you need to trade in your tenure and start fresh! If you love what you do and want to make a lot of money, this is the job for you. So much has changed within our company. If you haven’t seen us lately, you don’t know Merritt Hawkins. Come take another look.
Cons
There are good days and bad days in every career. It is easy to get negative if you let a rough period color your future. If you don’t like change, this is not the company for you because AMN is always changing and trying to get better. I’ve found my worst years have been when I focused on negativity and I didn’t seek out help. We are a big company and therefore it used to be difficult to have a meaningful voice, especially if you work in a remote office like Atlanta. It is not intentional though. It is getting better.. If you have a negative message, don’t expect the company to embrace and promote that. If you have a positive attitude and you want to impact the future of consultants like you, the company will give you opportunities. My advice? Don’t waste your time on negativity. Seek out successful, positive people.
