Pros

- Currently have (2)differential pays for ($2+)weekends and ($3+)overnight at the moment until March 2024. So, you are making 24.31 /hr (normal pay) + $5 as EMT 911 pay. - Unlimited OT (can pick up shifts) but be smart about it. - Get some funny moments - Get people who thank you at times - Get to go places due to medical emergencies that other people can't in the city. - Work-life balance is great depending on your schedule - Benefits. - Shift rotations last 6 months.

Cons

- Not able to get the schedule you want, seniority rules. - No part-time. - No partner; well you're making $17.50/hr. - Turnover rate is high due to firing/quitting usually happening every 6 months. - Management will hold grudges. - Anything can happen

Pros

Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard

Cons

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Pros

As we continue to strengthen our culture, our Core Behaviors remain the foundation for how we lead, engage, and deliver results across our teams. These behaviors are not just guiding principles—they define the expectations for how we interact with each other, our patients, and our communities every day. At their core, these behaviors drive consistency and alignment across the organization. By prioritizing care, encouraging open communication, seeking to understand, collaborating on solutions, and holding ourselves accountable, we create an environment grounded in trust, respect, and shared responsibility. I am proud to be part of a great organization that exemplifies the core behaviors.

Cons

Success of the Core Behaviors depends on consistent leadership, clear application, and sustained reinforcement over time. This is a challenge that will take time.
