Pros

The RD&A team of scientists and head of R&D are top notch people. They are very experienced, incredibly smart, and easy to work with. The people actually doing the science for this company, around the world, are wonderful people. Short term, just starting out, it's an alright stop in your career. Pay is decent.

Cons

This company struggles with communication, especially from the commercial to the technical teams. Hybrid positions of sales/technical roles held by many people including management makes this really convoluted. By the time information reaches lab staff it's played a few rounds of telephone and is so diluted it means next to nothing - if it even makes it to you. There is very little unity or sense of connection within some teams. Because of this, very little appreciation is shown. If you like a little validation for your work, I'd stay away. Do you like improving things? If innovation takes money, this company will fight back hard, then say you're not doing enough to innovate. Health Benefits are okay, but 401k is bad, raises are low, and bonus opportunities are available but lackluster. They require reaching high scores on your yearly review, which some managers just don't give out even if you far exceed your goals. When you ask said management how to get higher scores, they can't even give you an answer. There is very little vertical movement.

Pros

$200 yearly bonus for hourly employees

Cons

Work schedule doesn’t mean anything. Be prepared to live here and continuously be called out. Operating on the absolute minimum staffing requirements.
