I have enjoyed a long relationship as Facilities Space Planner, Interior Designer and Project Manager to a world wide shipping corporation to both the former Oakland, California Headquarters and the current Scottsdale, Arizona Headquarters. With extensive experience managing key individuals involved in project oriented and day to day activities. These activities include internal and external restructuring of personnel, office space design and layout, color/finish selection, space, team lead coordinator, project and departmental budgeting, project planning, project scheduling and project implementation. Starting with the preliminary schematics, schedules and request for proposals while working with both internal and external customers. Company has a team oriented approach to solving difficult problems and the need of providing cutting edge affordable practical solutions while staying within budget. I have been the primary player designing and overseeing each project in both the corporate and satellite branch offices
Cons
During the past two years the company has sold part of it holdings and is currently going thru a acquisition of the remaining holdings. Moral is low and employees are uncertain of their future and the future of the company.
