Pros
Compensation was fair; benefits ok; occasional bonuses were common but typically in reaction to to employee unrest due to overworked hours and requests to do tasks that are outside of a job description
Cons
Owner/founder of the company is too involved in day to day operations and sets policies that can feel culty and misplaced; CEO at the time was mostly fine but for one policy that required “all” employees to login to a sales queue to manually take orders over the phone when volume surged, regardless of job title, description of status - or at least that was what was communicated. In reality, this became a tool for punishing and rewarding some employees, giving the appearance of special treatment or in some cases outright discrimination and those of us that did login would then have all the same work to do but less time to do it with less ability to do focused work on the tasks and projects we were actually hired to do.
