Pros
The headquarters for ARI are in a very nice building. There is a great on-site bistro, and I have great co-workers.
Cons
Sadly, I have seen the salaries of some of the senior managers and if you saw them you would be as sick as I am. The difference between what they pay themselves and what the rest of us get paid is unconscionable. The pay for average employees is way below what we see on job ads and the cost of benefits is very high. The owners and senior managers are lining their pockets on the backs of their workers. Nepotism is rampant. Relatives of owners and senior managers get preferential treatment and an easy route to promotions, stepping on deserving people on their way up. You need to constantly watch your back. Fingers point at you for every mistake to avoid pointing a finger at someone who is "connected". Managers are steeped in hubris and need a lesson in humility. I've known Bob White for a long time and I can say from first-hand experience that he is not the brightest person I have known. How he got to be in charge is a mystery. You have to explain things to him over and over for him to fully understand. The HR department is not professional and doesn't help. If you want to be recognized for your accomplishments without having to compete with unqualified insiders, then stay out of this company.
